What are the requirement to be on the countywide substitute teacher list?

• • Valid California credential that authorizes substitute teaching:
    • California Substitute Permit authorization/requirements
      • Emergency 30-Day Substitute Permit
        • Completed BA or higher degree from a regionally-accredited college or university
        • Met the Basic Skills Requirement
      • Emergency Prospective Teacher Substitute Permit
        • Completed minimum of 90 semester units of course work form a regionally-accredited college or university
        • Currently enrolled in a regionally-accredited four-year California college or university
        • Met the Basic Skills Requirement
      • Basic Skills 30-Day Substitute Permit Waiver (must apply through Tulare County Office of Education)
        • Completed BA or higher degree from a regionally-accredited college or university
        • Has not met the Basic Skills Requirement
    • List of all other California authorizations to substitute teach per Title 5 §80025.3(a)
