Welcome Back to School
Welcome back to a new school year. Because of the continued cases of COVID-19 in Tulare County, schools will be required to continue with distance learning until the County of Tulare has less COVID-19 cases for a 4 week period.
We will start off with academic packets. Students will receive their packets every THURSDAY.
Completed packets will be turned in for grades and for attendance.
The school has ordered Chromebooks and hotspots for students. Once these are handed out to students, we will start virtual learning.
School and distance learning will be very different from last spring. Attendance through academic work and online technology programs is mandatory each day, and teachers will directly provide assignments that will be graded.
Stone Corral School District will distribute Chromebooks and hotspots to families to support their work during distance learning.
We will schedule a time for each student and one parent to:
- Pick up their devices
- To have an orientation on the use of the devices
- To show how virtual learning will take place.
- To assess each student in reading and math.
It is important that each parent adheres to the schedule.
Thank you for your patience as we navigate this new process to provide distance-learning resources to our students so we may continue meaningful teaching and learning. We are excited to begin the school year and look forward to beginning a new year of learning together.
Please take care of yourselves and each other.
